Your Everyday Rewards data—like your shopping behaviours and boosted offers.
We may also use your app and website activity stored in your device or browser cookies (such as content or pages you have interacted with while logged in on our app or website) to show you targeted ads.
This helps deliver ads that are more relevant to you when you visit other platforms like social media or search engines.
Learn about data sharing for advertising in our Sharing with our suppliers and service providers section.

No, you might still see generic ads from us on other websites and apps. Turning off the toggle stops us from showing you ads that are targeted to you based on your Everyday Rewards account and device data. This includes your shopping history, browsing behaviour and activity stored in your device or browser, such as clicks and interactions when logged in.
Additionally, because some tracking cookies are stored locally on your device rather than on our systems, they will remain active until they expire according to your specific web browser's settings. For example, browsers like Safari may retain certain cookies for anywhere from 24 hours up to seven days, with others taking longer. As a result, you may still experience targeted ads after opting out until those cookies expire, and this is controlled by the providers of those browsers - not Everyday Rewards. Alternatively you can manually clear your cookies.

To help you understand how this works, here is a quick breakdown of the tracking technologies used:
Cookies: These act as short-term memory files on your browser, saving your preferences and remembering items in your shopping cart.
Pixels: These are small pieces of code on web pages that note your interactions, like when you view a specific product or click a button.
Device IDs: This is a generic digital identifier for your device. It allows us to recognise your device across different browsing sessions so we can show you relevant offers without needing to attach your actual name to the activity.
This toggle stops cookies, pixels and Device IDs from being shared for targeted advertising purposes. It won’t turn off necessary cookies that are required to ensure our platform functions properly, such as for performance.
If you want to block cookies while browsing without logging in, you will need to manually adjust the cookie settings on your device or web browser.
