The Canon EOS 1300D has much in common with its predecessor, the 1200D, but rest assured, this is a worthy upgrade. Keeping things more in touch with modern times, the 1300D includes built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity, which allows users to install Canon's Camera Connect App to their smart device, in order to enjoy a host of benefits, in terms of quick and easy image transfer, and remote camera control. Canon's DIGIC 4+ image processor is also included as an update, bringing with it faster operating speeds, and enhanced continuous shooting abilities, but it is worth noting that this refers to the JPEG image buffer. The RAW buffer and continuous shooting rate is unchanged.

Internally, the 1300D contains an 18MP CMOS sensor, providing brilliant image and video quality, the latter of which is available in Full HD 1080p. A 9-point AF system and ISO range of 100-6400 are both available to help you tackle various subjects in a range of lighting conditions. The pentamirror optical viewfinder provides users with the chance to develop a relationship with the chosen method of composition for generations of SLR shooters, while for the modern touch, the 1300D also includes a large 3-inch LCD screen, this screen being updated to a resolution of 920k dots, for premium live view and playback performance.
