Solosite Soothing Hydrating Healing Wound Gel 100g

Smith Nephew SOLOSITE Gel is a cooling, soothing, and hydrating hydrogel for minor burns, sunburn, cuts, and grazes. This colour-free, non-sterile gel is capable of donating and absorbing moisture to create a moist wound environment which aids healing.

Warning: For external use only. SOLOSITE Gel should be used with care in the vicinity of the eyes. If contact occurs rinse thoroughly with clean water. SOLOSITE Gel is for external use only and should not be taken internally. If in doubt, seek medical advice regarding severity of the wound. Should signs of sensitivity or irritation occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, seek medical advice. CHOKING HAZARD - dispose of tamper evident seal and cap with care. For single patient use. Use within 3 months of opening and before the expiry date.

Purified water, Glycerin, Carboxymethylcellulose, Sodium, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Cleanse the wound with saline or suitable cleansing solution. Cover the affected area with SOLOSITE Gel (approximately 5mm thick). Where practical, cover the wound and the gel with an OPSITE FLEXIGRID or MELOLIN° dressing. Change daily or as directed to prevent drying out of the gel. For sunburn, re-apply on a regular basis to prevent the wound from drying out.
