For added convenience there is no need to use bottled, filtered or pre-boiled water in the Perfect Prep machine. Our filter features a filtration membrane designed to remove bacteria, impurities and contaminants that can be found in water. Water passes through an antibacterial filter to ensure it is clean and safe just like boiled water from a kettle. We recommend that you only use Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filters in the Perfect Prep machines. Our filter may look a lot like other water filters, but inside is a filtration membrane designed to remove impurities and contaminants. Most standard water filters do not include an antibacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria. How long will each filter last? On average, each Perfect Prep filter should last around 3 months, however this depends on the frequency of use and what size bottles you are preparing. The Perfect Prep machine will display a message on the screen when the filter is due to be replaced. The carbon used in the filter is food grade certified and therefore poses no harm to your little one.

• Filtration membrane: Inside each Perfect Prep Filter, there is a filtration membrane designed to remove any bacteria, impurities and other contaminants that can be found in water
• Sterilised: The filters have been sterilised and are certified to food grade. For the filters to remain sterile, they should not be opened until ready to be used in the machine
• Long-Lasting: Each filter lasts up to 3 months*. Your machine will notify you when it's due to be replaced. Please note that all Tommee Tippe branded filters work the same even if they look different
