With the Helix potato ricer, however, the squeezing force is applied horizontally, which is much more comfortable and utilises the power of the shoulders as well. In addition, its unique, twisting mechanism multiplies the force used, which means you get more squeezing power from less effort. The tough, 2-piece design is made from Stainless Steel and nylon and can be separated for easy cleaning. The Helix range also includes a garlic press and citrus juicer.
