DermaScar silicone scar reduction gel, helps soften & flatten raised scars. It helps relieve the itching & discomfort associated with scars. Original, classic formula.

This odourless, clear gel provides a barrier over the skin that prevents damage externally and allows the skin to heal internally. Furthermore, it helps reduce the appearance of scars like; hypertrophic and keloid scars. Finally, it has also been successfully used to treat scars caused by trauma, burns and surgery.

DermaScar is suitable for use on Scars resulting from: Body surgery, C-section, thyroidectomy, cardiac surgery, Facial surgery eyelid surgery, Minor scratches and insect bites, Deep cuts and Mild burns

Apply DermaScar twice a day - in the morning and evening, to dry, intact skin

If you have a scar from surgery, check that the wound has healed first before applying DermaScar. This is typically 10 to 14 days after surgery.

Before applying, clean the area first with mild soap and water and then pat dry

Place a pea-size amount of gel at the tip of the scar and gently spread thinly over the affected area.

A pea-size amount is enough to cover a 12cm scar. Allow the gel to dry for 1 to 2 minutes.

Once dry, DermaScar may be covered with cosmetics or sunscreen.

Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If it goes into the eyes rinse thoroughly. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children.

DermaScar Classic should not be: Applied to open or fresh wounds. Placed in contact with mucous membranes or applied too close to the eyes. Applied over antibiotic skin preparations or other skin treatments and/or products.
