MICROSHIELD® 4 Chlorhexidine Surgical Handwash is an antiseptic skin cleanser formulated to meet the standards of a surgical hand scrub and a preoperative body wash.
Features & Benefits:
- Topical antiseptic solution
- Contains emolient and moisturiser
- For surgical handwashing.
- Suitable for preoperative body washing and showering
Contains Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v (equivalent to Chlorhexidine 22.5g/L)
Use Undiluted
Antimicrobial Hand Washing:
- Deliver 5ml onto wet hands.
- Wash for 30 seconds.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry.
Surgical Hand Washing:
- Repeat above wash for 2 minutes. Scrub.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a sterile towel.
Body Washing and Showering:
- Wet Body. Deliver sufficent product to work up a lather.
- Wash as usual, avoiding the ears and eyes.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry.
